Very good room with direct view of the sea and a choice of four restaurants. The food was very good but only set menus (no variety or specials of the day). Dinner at Takamaka on beach at one was delightful. The wine was really expensive (£60 for a bottle of cheapest wine and £200 for a Chablis!). The room mini bar also very expensive. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Excellent beach with plenty of loungers and drinks service. Tried to use tennis court but they could not find anyone to play with me apart from the pro. Inadequate wind to use sailing boats except one day when no spaces available. Given an excellent tour/talk by their turtle expert; also enjoyed feeding the giant tortoise.

A little dated in terms of the rooms but great location all facing the ocean. Comfortable rooms and fantastic service. We were well looked after and had a great time with enough to do. 10 Days max would be my recommendation.

A crazy course with first 12 holes with large areas of water including three greens surrounded by water - requiring long carry and accuracy. Then 6 holes up and down a mountain (incline circa 40 degrees slopes in places) and on some holes long carry required from men's tees. Could not be played without a buggy that cost £56 per round extra to the free green fee. Lost a huge number of balls (12 first day between 2 of us when unfamiliar with course - mid teen handicappers who play every week in UK). Course suffering from prolonged drought with tees and fairways just sand in places. Very disappointing experience.

No Rain for 7 months had took its toll however we had a right downpour and you could see the course recovering. Greens were very good although a little slow. Very true though. Well looked after by team and the last 6 holes are a right challenge.

The course is a decent test of golf for an average golfer with a handicap near or below 20. We played off the white tees. The water hazards on the front 12 and the slopes and hazards on the back 6 punish any wayward shots. It is relatively short but probably deserves its slope index of 139. The ladies tees make the course manageable even for a short hitter. The greens were true but slower than I expected possibly because they appeared to have been recently sanded. The bunkers were not great but the frequent rain makes keeping bunkers in consistent and good condition difficult
