With over a 100 years of history, the club is home to the Golf Union of Wales Individual Handicap Championship, indicating its status and quality among Welsh golfers.

Llandrindod Wells describe themselves as 'Upland Links', with the course maintaining many similar characteristics as you would expect from traditional links.
The signature hole is appropriately named 'Death or Glory', at 297 yards, the 18th hole gives golfers the option to take an iron and play safe, or attack the green with a 250 yard carry over a deep valley, the hole really has the potential to ruin your scorecard.
A wind turbine is located on the course. Say no more. The views are spectacular and there are some interesting holes. It needs more buggy paths though as the course is very bumpy
Tough mountainous course that I was glad to have a buggy for. As a first time player there are too many blind shots. Phil the Pro was helpful and friendly.
