0800 043 6644Situated on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, the Manor House is set magnificently in 365 acres of rolling countryside. One of the best courses in the South West, it was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark and opened for play in 1992. The mature oak and beech trees that line the magnificent fairways together with the immaculate greens and the River Bybrook meandering through the middle bring both drama and beauty to this 6,500 yard Championship course.
There are three accommodation options at The Manor House – the 5* star hotel, The Castle Inn and The Waterfall Lodge. The hotel boasts 50 individually designed rooms and suites that perfectly combine the traditional features of a 14th Century manor house, including exposed beams and open fireplaces, with contemporary amenities such as in-room tablets and televisions in the bathrooms. The hotel is home to the Michelin starred Bybrook restaurant, serving both an a la Carte and Tasting menu influenced by the produce grown in the kitchen garden. The hotel also has a gin bar with over 200 different types of gin.
The Castle Inn sits in the heart of Castle Coombe, just beyond the hotel’s exit gate. It has 12 en-suite bedrooms all tastefully furnished and full of character. Great pub food is served until 9pm everyday and local beers are on tap.
The Waterfall Lodge is located on the golf course, adjacent to the Clubhouse. It has 4 twin bedded rooms, a small lounge area with television and DVD player and a bathroom and is perfect for golfing groups up to 8 looking to play lots of golf and enjoy the facilities the Clubhouse has to offer.
The Manor House Hotel & Golf Club continues to be one of our customers highest rated UK golf resorts.
Fabulous hotel, felt safe with the covid measures in place, lovely room in the cottages with an amazing bathroom even a tv in there. Comfortable bed and so quiet slept like a log. Excellent supply of coffee pods etc and great that we could get fresh milk delivered to the room so quickly. The I pad system is brilliant particularly in this covid time. Great place will definitely go back
Wow, what can I say. We stayed in one of the cottages which was absolutely beautiful and luxurious. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the whole experience was Covid secure. Dinner at the Castle Inn was delicious. Will definitely be returning next year. We had great weather which was an added bonus.
Ok we've stayed at the castle inn pub before it's tried and tested it's brilliant food is excellent and ash and his staff very warm and welcoming the rooms are very good and value for money overall 5star many thanks for having us we will be returning
Our group stayed in the Mews houses. Rooms were first class with all the facilities you could possibly need. Our dinner was served at the Castle Inn, and again we weren't disappointed. It's a wonderful, historic setting, the Manor House itself is magnificent and Castle Combe is possibly the prettiest village in the Cotswolds, if not England. Highly recommended.
Quaint country pub with superb food and service.
our third visit still as good as the first. Probably the most welcoming hotel/lodge/golf club in the country. As before everything was superdly organised.
Waterfall lodge is right by teh 18th green and is a great quick getaway set of accomodation. Beds are slightly small so would not recommend more than one person per room. The dinner at teh pub in the village was great and they very kindly ran us down and back. Staff were great Thanks
Excellent lodge over looking course, very testing course. Staff excellent everything was catered for, even got a lift to and from the pub in a buggy travelling through the wonderful course! 👍👍👍

Lovely course,quite difficult.some spectacular holes.
We had two great rounds one wet and one dry. Definitely need a buggy there’s slot of hills! Interesting and varied course
What a stunning course with some fantastic holes. Beautiful views and the course was in good condition. You definitely need a buggy as it is a long and hilly walk otherwise. The whole experience was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.
Wonderful course.in wet winter conditions it held up very well. Warm welcome from pro-shop and staff.nice changing rooms good bar service. One piece of advice- hire a buggy!
Played this many times and just when you think you've mastered it boom the wheels are off again but that what makes golf the sport it is this coarse is brilliant you can take my word for that but better still try it you will not be disappointed the views are stunning the holes are stunning the coarse is hard in places but that makes it interesting recommend using buggies but it can be walked just returned from 2days playing walked both but tired hope this helps your decision
As a course for visiting societies, Castle Combe has it all. The elevation changes on the course make for tough, but spectacular golf holes. Most courses are judged by one or two 'signature' holes - this place has them in spades! There are very few 'ordinary' holes here. Buggies are a must - some of the climbs between holes were so steep that we needed Sherpas! Despite the recent wet weather, the course was very playable and the greens tricky and quick. Clubhouse facilities were as good as you'll find anywhere, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our group of eight, half of which were first timers here, thoroughly enjoyed our rounds, even if the scoring was unimpressive.
Lovely setting with some interesting holes but get a buggy as their are some evil hills to content with!
Some minor fairway damage from last summers dry spell , greens very quick and true. Buggies on the fairway helped make for quick rounds. Rough was short, 4th hole undergoing a change and was messy for those who did not reach the green. Overall we will be back again and again
Great course with some really challenging holes and some easier ones. The greens are brilliant but you need a buggy as its very hilly! The course is set up for buggies so no problem there
Buggy recommended as quite hilly and a good walk between some of the tees. Some nice interesting par 3’s and a short elevated par 4
