The Mara Intrepids Camp is located on the banks of the Talek River at the intersection of four of the Masai Mara's most popular game-viewing areas. From its unique vantage point, visitors can witness incredible wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery.

Its proximity to the Mara River makes it an ideal location for watching animal migrations, as well as the abundant wildlife year-round. Guests can expect to see a wide variety of animals, including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and all the Big Cats.

The camp's prime location means that is in the middle of four game viewing areas in the Masai Mara Reserve. It also has its own private airstrip for easy access. The Ol Kiombo airstrip has an all-weather runway and is just 45 minutes by air from the capital, Nairobi.

Activities at the camp include game drives through the famous reserve, where guests can spot African Big Five animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Cultural tours with the resident Maasai tribe offer insight into their ancient way of life, and guided bush walks give a closer look at the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

As well as excellent game viewing and birding opportunities, there are experienced and certified guides to enhance the safari experience. Additionally, the camp offers a unique kids club in which naturalists educate young visitors about local culture and wildlife. This has proved very popular with families keen to involve children in the safari experience and inspire them to develop an interest in wildlife conservation.

In addition to seeing a wide variety of wildlife up close, you'll also get an unparalleled view of some truly jaw-dropping natural features, from ancient rock formations to majestic waterfalls.
