All these characteristics come together to produce an excellent course which guarantees to challenge even the best of us.
It is only allowed to be played by guests of the resort and there is an average of 30 minutes between tee times, therefore congested rounds are never the case and morning tee times are assured. This allows golfers to concentrate solely on their game and benefit from a magnificent day of golf that meets the expectations of even the most serious fans of the ‘auld game’.
There is also a charming 9-hole, par 36 executive course nestled in the kind slopes of the foothills in Benahavis. It is designed to enhance your enjoyment of each round and the perfectly managed greens and gracefully styled lakes mean that you will have a truly memorable experience.
Positioned on the beach front of the Mediterranean, are the accommodations of the resort. There are 84 rooms and 37 stylish suites hidden amid flourishing gardens designed by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe. As well as hotel accommodation there are also 14 plush Andalucían-style villas, each boasting their own gardens and pools giving the facade of a modern but traditional whitewashed village of Andalucía.
The rooms are all finished to the highest of standards, using top-class materials, the finest fabrics and unique Mediterranean-style interior designs. first time played. a wonderful course,with some great holes. our fifth round in 5 days , so most of us a bit jaded and found it difficult , hence poor scores. would certainly recommend
Lovely course, a little light on facilities
Lots of blind golf where you didn't know what was over the hill or round the corner. Need to play it 2/3 times to know where to land your ball. Extremely slow four balls ahead of us and we got so fed up that we quit after 16 holes.

Wow! What a treat. Layout and views amazing. They have generous gaps between tee-times but no effective marshalling so if you get caught behind inconsiderate groups be prepared for a long round! But other than that the ambience and course are fantastic. Ignore any negative comments about this course... it's quirky perhaps but one not to be missed. But its long and very hilly and buggies an absolute must.. unless you are an Olympic Athlete do not even consider walking it!
