The excellent par-73 layout at Maspalomas Golf is set within a unique landscape, next to the shoreline and in the midst of the sand dunes and palm trees that characterise the area.

0800 043 6644Maspalomas is one of the island's best established courses, having been opened in 1968 following design and construction by Mackenzie Ross. Measuring 6,189 yards from the back tees, this is not the longest course around, but it will certainly provide an interesting challenge to even the most skilled golfer.
With the promise of Gran Canaria's year-round sun, Maspalomas is definitely a very appealing option for a golfing getaway during the dark winter months at home.

Flat, forgiving course, with a good mixture of holes.
I played the course with my wife (I am a mid handicapper and my wife is a higher handicapper). We both absolutely loved our three rounds at Maspolomas. The course offers a decent layout that is challenging enough to maintain interest and to test golfers of a range of abilities. Play was a bit slower than we might have liked and it did occur to me that some groups would have benefitted from a bit of Ranger attention to improve pace of play. The pro shop and restaurant are both excellent and the staff in all parts of the enterprise go out of their way to make visiting and playing the course a great experience. We will definitely return to play Maspalomas.
One of the oldest courses on the Island which has matured well. Generous fairways and interesting holes. An easy flat walk
Course in good condition, well managed but quite an ordinary course with no spectacular views or holes.
Disappointing compared to other courses in area, but great greens and facilities.
Lovely company from a danish couple who knew the course well. Course a bit boring as straight up and down often. The facilities and shop very nice!
Big greens and no rough which kept the pace of play sensible
It is a good introductory day 1 course for your trip. With the whole island being shut for a year it is taking a bit of time for all the courses to recover. That said all pretty good but greens need a bit more time. Flat course and you could walk if you wanted to.
Fairways where a bit rough and bare in places, nice views on back 9.
Very busy course, and not the most exciting layout. Still, the greens were really fast and true. Some long holes that makes the course a bit harder than it looks.
Nice course to start holiday on. Forgiving fairways shallow bunkers and few water features. Not busy. Nice terrace to have a drink on after round and good shop for lady golfers to browse in. Very enjoyable start to holiday.
Would not play this course again. Very unmemorable. Scruffy round the edges.
No issues enjoyed the course
Much easier than Meloneras.
Have played course before so able to compare from last time, and just as enjoyable. Wide fairways give the opportunity, but still be careful of bunkers and trees. Have given 4 stars all through but thought the greens very slow, and lot of pitch marks and divot holes, who dropped into one on last day on last hole {9th} could hardly see it let alone hit it, of course the others where very sorry about it, now who's talking about a rule change. Still got a 5 though.
Played this course on one occasion - slightly disappointed as play was extremely slow resulting in abandoning last 3 holes to major bottleneck of players. Clubhouse facilities were impressive and lunch and beers were good.
