However, the range of tees ensures that the course can be playable for all visitors. The superb parkland track features numerous water hazards, creating some exhilarating moments, not least on the signature 11th. This par-3 demands a shot of over 200 yards, across a gaping lake to a testing two-tiered target.
A dramatic finish is assured, as golfers must negotiate the superb 18th, whose fairway is lined with enormous oak trees. The green is perched across a lake, and under the gallery at the clubhouse.

<p>On a beautiful Sunday morning we arrived at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Country Club, full of expectation having had no problem in finding the course. </p> <p>From the moment we walked in the door of the pro shop we were made to feel so welcome, our booking was on the system and we were told we could tee off early if we wished, as well as being offered the choice of white or yellow markers.</p> <p>As we fancied ourselves as reasonable golfers we used the white tees and what a fantastic course it was! Every hole offers a different but fair challenge with testing greens. After a great game of golf the winners of the 4 ball were paid and we checked in to the hotel. Again, from the moment we arrived at the front desk we were made to feel really welcome. </p> <p>Some of us used the excellent leisure centre while others had a lie down and at around 7pm we had a beautiful meal in the restaurant. We ordered from the early bird menu and the food and service were both top class. </p> <p>After dinner we had a most relaxing evening in the bar area and, needless to say, a few drinks to relax all served once again by very friendly staff. </p> <p>This is one of the best venues we have ever been to both from the quality of the course and the hotel. The golf course is a must for any golfer and the hotel is a great base for golfers and holiday makers alike. We will definitely stay and play here again. </p> <p>I would highly recommend using YGT as the price was amazing and the service was first class too.<br></p>

Some lovely holes ruined by awful bunkers. Like playing off concrete. Would return but not for a while.
The course was in prestige condition, every hole is wel separated from the previous or next hole. World class course
Played 2 rounds. Each hole is v interesting and offers a great challenge for all levels. Fairways were really well maintained and there was a steady consistent roll on each green.
