Northcliffe Golf Club

The Yorkshire Golfer Magazine describes the approach to the first tee as "jaw dropping". The signature 18th hole - a par 3 from an elevated tee into a narrow green alongside a ravine, is described as "breathtaking" & "one of golf's great finishing holes".

Northcliffe is a James Braid designed course. Braid is recognised as one of golf's pre-eminent course architects and has created some of the finest examples of golf courses in the country.

Over the years, the high quality of the course has been enhanced by significant investment. However, we remain committed to maintaining the heritage and integrity of the Braid design principles. The state of the art simulator provides the latest technology to enable golfers to test their ability on famous courses such as Royal Birkdale, Royal Troon, Carnoustie and even Ryder cup venues such as Celtic Manor & Hazeltine National all without having to leave Bradford!!

Checking in !!nobody at the check in desk, had to use a phone, we were early we only wanted to drop of our luggage. Room liveable just !Food basic = fast food situation, drinks expensive. The hotel took away the feel good factor of the golf course / clubhouse.

This club over the last year [covid]has spent 100,000 pounds over the last year on a gamble, for me and my friends it was worth every penny Slope rate is high, the fairways are well managed ,But lead you into being easy to play ! until you hit the greens, they are very fast and undulating, you will loose a few points on these greens. The club house, not big but like the greens very well managed, food, service, hospitatity second to none, wether it is via you ? Can I suggest that you talk with the club as regards serving evening meals [there food is fresh, varied and local ] We as a group would do a b /b if we ate at Northcliffe golf club. Les FILLIS
