The Ritz Carlton Golf resort in Naples Florida is with out doubt the nicest golf resort my wife have stayed at. The service in the club lounge at the hotel was first class. Great food, great selection of beers and being able to sit out of an evening after dinner and look over the course and lakes whilst sitting around a fire pit was wonderful.
The hotel was really easy to find just a straight road across Florida turn right and your pretty much there.
The golf facilities, such as the club house the magnificent practice ground, including long and short game facilities together with an on site academy was excellent.
There are two courses at The Ritz Carlton Tiburon, the black and the gold, both designed by Greg Norman and both very different. The gold is where they host PGA and LPGA competitions and this was our favourite and especially as the greens are running at 14 on the Stimp metre. The black is good a little fiddly as you really have to think your way around.
And if your golf isn't the best you will be found out on both courses but you can always dream of owning one of the incredible homes that look aver the courses.
The hotel runs a shuttle bus to the sister hotel which takes no more 10 minutes.
Finally if you want great restaurants, bars and sone retail therapy then Naples 3rd Street had it all for a great golfing destination. We will go back.
