From Chris Kennedy Very enjoyable golfing break, generally well organised. The RIU Palace although a quality hotel, was struggling to keep up the room maintenance as the rooms now require renovation. This however was tempered by the excellent service and cheerfulness of the staff that lessened the various minor and irritating snags that cropped up through the week. From My Self Richard Rust. The organisation by yourselves for the pickups from the hotel and collection from the golf clubs was first class the drivers were all on time and extremely helpful. The hotel itself as Chris mentioned was not quite up to standard. The Staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us. The food was very good with excellent choices each day. We had several problems with our room the first morning as we woke up to a power cut and had a few more during the week. Our last evening, we had a major problem with our door the key would not open the door and the hotel had to get a person from outside to open our door which took 90 minutes. As we were checking out of our room the next morning, we had another power cut we almost missed the coach taking us to the airport.
The hotel is located right on Agadir's 10 km-long fine-sandy beach , separated from the sea only be the beachfront promenade. There is a separate and exclusive beach section for hotel guests' use. The centre of Agadir with a wide selection of boutiques, bazaars, restaurants, cafés and several night clubs is about 1 km away. The famous Golf du Soleil golf course is located approximately 10 minutes drive for the Hotel.
