This was a strange course to visit. The facilities looked very good. Practice nets, chipping area, good practice green. When you first look at the course the views are fabulous, and it is obvious that it has great greens and sloping fairways. We had a great round on a very tough course. The course was in great condition. Unfortunately the experience was spoilt by a cd feeling, unwelcoming clubhouse. On arrival we asked for a sandwich to take out with us. That was awful, 2 peices of thick white bread with the minimum amount of filling. I was of a mind to take it back. When we finished our round a glass cabinet was full of large fluffy brown batch with lots of filling and salad? Make your own conclusions about that. The "cold" feeling continued in as much as it really wasn't very welcoming. A real let down after hearing so many positive things about this club. They have a glorious course, but definitely need to work on making visitors feel welcome
