Spey Bay Golf Course

Spey Bay Golf Course, designed by Ben Sayers, offers a classic links experience. The course stretches to over 6,200 yards from the championship tees, with a variety of other tee options available to cater for all skill levels.

Characterised by its undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fast, true greens, Spey Bay presents a genuine test of links golf. While not a parkland course, the coastal setting and natural dunes create a unique and visually stunning landscape. As a traditional links course, it has not hosted any major professional tournaments. For first-time players, accuracy off the tee is paramount, as wayward shots can be punished by the thick rough and gorse bushes.

The wind, a constant factor on coastal courses, can significantly impact club selection and strategy. The welcoming clubhouse provides a comfortable setting to relax and recount your round, with views overlooking the course and the Moray Firth. While the pro shop is worth a visit for souvenirs and essentials, it's advisable to check in advance regarding the availability of buggies, club, and trolley hire.
