Nestled in 140 acres of pure English countryside, Mardyke is packed with thrilling holes, rolling fairways and large water hazard make this par 70 a test for golfers of all abilities.
Measuring 6,201 yards from the tips, Mardyke Valley can be enjoyed by both low and high handicappers. The course is blessed with excellent natural drainage that allows this course to play at near peak conditions all year round. The welcoming clubhouse boasts views across the golf course, a wonderful spot to grab a drink and a bit to eat after your round.
With 97 modern bedrooms located within the walls of the 18th-century Georgian manor house, every guest will be able to enjoy modern comforts in an outstanding classical setting. All rooms are well-appointed and come with Free Wifi and a flatscreen TV.
The 6 acres of beautiful gardens that surround the Hotel make an idyllic setting for your stay. The Regency restaurant which overlooks the gardens is a great place to dine, the option of a separate bar area is also handy for those looking to enjoy a drink after splitting the fairways.
Our experience was very mixed. The rooms were what one would expect for their star rating. The food was good, but unfortunately some of the staff acted appallingly and disrespectful when asked to clarify something really simple.
