Very smart rooms as were the bar/restaurant areas. Very quiet, few other people were staying, so we effectively had the place to ourselves.

Great location service rooms and food top notch and great golf course brilliant greens, plus great value for money we will return. Thanks your golf travel

When we went down to the pro shop to check in no tee time had been booked and on the Monday he said you are later than my paper work On Monday went to collect some score cards at 8.50 and pro shop closed The evening meal you only get 2 choices and only 2 courses won’t be going back again

Hotel v nice n close to the course. Condors rooms n excellent shower. Staff were excellent but overworked as wedding was on n understaffed. Only 2 choices for food in restaurant which was big let down...food was good but had to be pre ordered. Food was good but limited. Breakfast was buffet but was v good n had everything.

Unfortunately only a golf break there is a choice of 2 for starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts

Lovely staff in a really quiet location with everything we needed for an overnight stay and two rounds of golf.

The staff were very helpful and the group loved the stay.

Beautiful location, the restaurant was lovely just a shame hardly anyone eating and therefore lacked an atmosphere. Bar staff in particular Armad were friendly. Reception staff need more training when we were leaving we were asked had we paid and I had to show my statement from your golf travel. The rooms were lovely apart from the mattress which was too soft, but that may suit some people. I would recommend for a nice short break

Lovely place to visit. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay. Rooms look like they've been renovated recently and the bathrooms were excellent. Very impressed with the quality of the food.

The hotel was fantastic, there were twenty of us in our golf party and the staff couldn’t do enough for us , they went above and beyond for all of us. The food was amazing the evening meal and the breakfast 10 out of 10. The bar staff were great and the pool table in the bar kept us occupied until the early hours of the morning.

Very friendly staff that made you welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and facilities were very good and would recommend the hotel to everyone.

Great venue and great staff at this facility Course very wet though so hard work for all players but let's be honest we knew it would be wet - back again soon for the summer, I am sure.

Excellent hotel even though it’s small, rooms were spacious and clean excellent shower and bathroom. Food very good but limited to £25 for 2 courses. Anything over that we hate to pay, only one main and one desert was £25 any other combination was over £25.

We really enjoyed our Sunday saver here. The rooms were brilliant recently refitted. Really enjoyed the course some very different holes and as an added bonus the fairways and greens had irrigation. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated . Beds comfy and plenty of tea and coffees in room with a kettle . Hairdryer included . There were often long waits for food but I assume like all hospitality venues they were short of staff . The hotel laid up one long table for us which was very much appreciated but we were all served our dinner at different times despite filling in a menu sheet beforehand which was a bit frustrating . Standard and quality of food was really good . Definitely worth another visit in the cooler weather !

Lovely hotel, great staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy, bedrooms clean and comfortable. Only a five minute taxi ride into Stratford.

Perfectly placed for two rounds and some country air, room was fine , bed comfy....the dining experience was a bit weak (not a varied menu), but overall good value for money

Staff not interested and disaffected. Booked for 36 people on a Sunday driver. We completed a room list with YGT. When arrived they said that they didnt have it. Didnt get our rooms until 6pm onwards. After our round on the Monday the Clubhouse was closed because they said they close every Monday to give their staff a day off. No food or sandwiches available. It was a shame because with a better Customer Service attitude it could be a good venue. Understandably, none of our 36 will be coming back.

Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Weather was awful so spent evenings in hotel. Not much to do it needs a few leisure activities.

Accommodation is comfortable and food is very delicious. All staffs are very kind. Everything was better than we expected and we really had great time to stay.

The hotel is a little tired and in need of a refurb. Cleaning is clearly not a priority with cobwebs present and crumbs and crisps on the bedroom carpet. The two floodlights by the driving range were on all night and lit the bedrooms making sleep difficult even though the curtains were tightly shut. It was all ok but would not rush back.

Amazing golf course with very very fast greens. All the staff were amazing from the receptionist to the night porter. About 10mins from Stratford with lots of bars. All the meals we had were excellent and we didn’t have one complaint about any part of our stay

An excellent break. Very friendly and polite staff in all areas with superb service at both dinner and breakfast. Very good quality food which was well presented.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel our room was very clean and comfortable and it look over the 9 green

Couldn't fault the course, every hole had character. Condition, despite incessant rain, was excellent. Greens very fast. We all agreed that it would be good to visit in summer.

Good standard course some v good holes especially last 6 holes n 17 n 18 r great. Greens were in v good condition esp with the dry weather Pro shop v good n helpful Sun round was little slow to start but much improved once let thru. Mon was v quick n v quick round. Overall course was v good...with some difficult holes n some easier ones to start the course.

A great layout with enough testing and interesting holes. Quite hilly so glad I took the electric trolley. Greens were in great condition and they were doing some needed work on the bunkers so hopefully those will be more consistent in the future.

Although the rounds were slow (4.5) hours, the course was in good condition and gave a challenge to all players in our group.

The course has some very challenging holes with plenty of hills. The greens had been dressed but still had a good speed so didn’t affect play. For a course that is still very young we really enjoyed it and give it a few more years will be a brilliant course

First time playing the course and we had a one night, two rounds break. Nice range to warm up on (though the quality of balls wasn't great). Friendly staff in the pro shop and plenty of buggies if that's your thing. The course was very pleasant, the highlight of which was the quality of the greens. Good pace and very true roll. Our group of 8 consisted of handicaps from 3 to 20 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the course. The only criticism was the state of the bunkers (very little sand and some stones in them). Other than that I would highly recommend the course. Nice lay out, varied holes and a much better course of the white tees. Incredible value for money. I had read some reviews about it being wet at times. We went mid September and it was very dry with the ball rolling a long way on the fairways. You can see they ave done extensive work on gravel banding / drainage channels all over the course and it is obviously paying dividends. We would go back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this course. The greens were excellent. The holes are varied and interesting. Situated in the hills close to Stratford and the neighbouring Welcombe Hotel course. Very good value and challenging.

Great golf course with some interesting holes, it really is a thinking person’s course, you don’t just get on the tee and hit your driver , its all about getting your ball in the right position. The 17th signature hole on an island green tested all golfers of high and low handicaps. The greens were good and ran true, but the bunkers were very stoney .

Glad we had buggies the course is quite hilly but very good to play.

Very very wet and felt like it should have been closed to be honest. But we struggled round and had a great evening with food and drink

Unfortunately the course was very wet due to excessive rain. Fairways were muddy and balls always plugged so lost lots of balls. Fairways hadn’t been cut for some time due to adverse weather conditions. Greens and tees excellent. Will go back to play when weather drier, the course should then be easier to play. Couldn’t play the second day as it was too wet. No buggies or trolleys so carry bags only which made it more difficult due to adverse conditions making walking very tiring. Has the potential to be a very enjoyable round when dry, some very interesting challenging holes.

The tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The greens were very quick and difficult to read at times but a real good test. Stunning scenery and friendly golf shop.

The course was in great condition.the greens where great and quite hard to read which made it exciting. There was a couple of holes you could drive for the bigger hitters, risk and reward 😉. Overall great 2 days of golf ⛳️

We were a group of 16 different abilities but all thoroughly enjoyed the two days of golf . Course was in great condition . We had two days of really hot sun and all were suffering with the heat a little bit when reaching the top of the holes where there were steep hills . In normal weather conditions it would not have been a problem but if you do have mobility problems then I would advise using a buggy .

Really nice course, some nice views, fairways were a bit hard, but greens were really nice and a good pace.

This time of year we always lower our expectations a little, but no need here. The tee boxes were in great condition as were the fairways, which is sometimes hard to find in October. The greens were fantastic, some very subtle and some were really tricky, they were also very fast and true, some of the best we've played all year!! The layout is very nice too, a hilly parkland best describes it. All in all a great course.

Course was better than expected. Unfortunately our booking with YGT was at 9.30 but they booked us in at 9am which caused a backlog for the people behind us. Staff weren't bothered

Great course; impressed we were able to play given the very very wet conditions! Would love to play here when dry.

Awful weather so difficult to rate as not open for two days.

Golf course was great and green condition was good even wet weather. All members satisfied the course and a proshop staff is also very kind.

We was lucky with the weather, but very wet underfoot, so as there were no buggies at the time pushing a hand trolley round was hard work. Other than this it was fine

Played two days. First day was ridiculously slow with 16 players on one hole, 4 on the green and 12 waiting. There was no Marshall and the round took nearly 5.5 hours. When we mentioned this in the pro shop there was little response apart from “well today should be quicker”! The course was in good condition and we did enjoy the two games but it could have been so much better with a bit more management.

The course was in fabulous condition and the greens were very fast and according to the members get faster in the summer. The course has a variety of holes which kept us interested even though we played it 3 times over the 3 days. It is a long course and the front 9 does have some big hills.

Nice welcome from the club professional. Played off grass tees on all but two holes and all the regular greens which were in excellent condition, probably the best we have experienced anywhere at this time of the year in the UK. Fairways also in excellent condition. Pace of play not too bad given that we were a 2-ball.

We played Sunday and Monday Sunday we was behind a society we wear out for 51/2 hours but monday it took 4 hours which is good for a mixed pair the course is a good test of the white tees this the second time we played hear but not the last
