The front nine holes were first opened in 2004, four years later in 2008 the back nine was completed to create a full championship quality 18-hole golf course. The man responsible for the track is golf architect Pekka Sivula, who has managed to produce a finished product that is as challenging as it is beautiful.
Making its way through undulating hills and rich Estonian countryside vegetation, Golf X Rae is a memorable course and is a must play on any Estonian golf holiday itinerary. Measuring a total of 6001 metres, with a par of 72, the layout is a tricky one and is certainly no pushover. Water is a constant threat and keeping the ball dry is important for any golfer looking to score low.
The Clubhouse is home to a superb restaurant which serves local delicacies using fresh local produce for both lunch and dinner, while at the same time providing charming views over the golf course.
