Excellent staff, everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. Great facilities although didn't get time to use them all. Really impressed with the food, we were a group of 12 and all said they really enjoyed everything served up which is impressive. Highly recommend and good location for North Devon golfing trips.

Ideal hotel for a group of lads on a golf trip to Saunton. Excellent breakfast. A bit out of Barnstaple but got a taxi into town at night as it was raining.

Hugely disappointed with the accommodation provided. The website makes this accommodation seem much better quality than the reality. The rooms were adequate, but dated. There was a generally unpleasant smell along the entire corridor and in our room. It didn't go with opening the windows, so we concluded it was imbedded in the hotel somewhere. Breakfast was good, lots of choice on offer and the Cooked buffet was very tasty. The coffee was poor. Again, the decor in the restaurant and bar area were dated and not comfortable.
