While reception staff were great, the experience in the bar/restaurant were not as good. We were informed that a cooked breakfast was not available due to staff shortages. We knew from friends who had stayed 2 weeks previously that this was also the case. Whilst not really an issue as far as we were concerned, perhaps this information had not got through to you. The free drinks in recompense were not provided despite reception sending a note to the bar.

Located less than 30 minutes from Colchester, a lively town which was the former 'Roman Britain', this is a great Staycation destination.
The 9 hole track is perfect for beginners, whilst the 18 hole championship course features strategically placed bunkers and requires some thought and accuracy, perfect for lower handicap golfers.
