0800 043 6644With fast running fairways and undulating greens the Crown Course is home to some unique holes that will require good precision and length in order to negotiate some of the more testing fairways.
· 18 holes, 69 par, 6252 yards.
The Cromwell golf course is a brilliant combination of natural defences, water hazards and bunkers make some of the greens on this fantastic golf course a true challenge to find. Along with this you’ll need a steady hand to face the 12th tee shot over a lake to find the green on the popular par-3. With greens and tees built to USGA specifications, the Cromwell Course will no doubt become a firm favourite in the area.

Accommodation was excellent with no complaints from any of our group. Food was good even though it was the same menu two days running. Service was slow which was a bit of a let down. Bar prices are high and main bar closed at 11pm for cash purchases and only stayed open if you pre loaded a credit card. Spike bar was great for a few drinks after you round.
Comfortable and quiet. Excellent en suite and sitting out area. Dining was mediocre with limited choice and very ordinary. Breakfast was adequate but most of the food was luke warm having sat out for too long.
Beds are too soft, but apart from that excellent experience, food very nice.
My room was ok but some of the other ladies rooms were a little compact
As a group of 23 we mostly occupied the 'courtyard' rooms, which varied in size considerably. However, it was great to all be together. The golf courses were great, except the electricity pylons on one course. The evening meals were lovely, however, the lunchtime snacks were half the price if bought in the spike bar, as opposed to the bar (and the same menu). Overall, a great place to go.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and well equipped.

Course appeared tired. More investment appeared to be required. Clubhouse in a portakabin. Seemed to be a focus on the holiday as this appeared to being developed
My main memory from this course will be the poor quality of the greens. I can't remember playing on worse greens. There are holes on the greens, of depths up to 1.5 inches that are the size of 50p pieces. This makes putting a lottery. I will not play this course again.
Great course but alot tighter than the Cromwell with much smaller greens. Some excellent par threes and Bunkers where much better. Can't fault either course for the money we paid.
The course was generally in great nick with good fairways and large quick sloping greens which challenged everyone. Bunkers were the only let down. We played this course twice and found it a bit more forgiving than the Crown course.
Again good fun and lovely greens and conditions
Great day out in superb weather conditions
Same as the Cromwell course
Apart from:no signs telling us where the next tee was on the first few holes and the bunkers had lots of stones and lots of weeds in,it was a very nice course
Excellent course makes you think every shot You climb up gradually a couple of holes are a little steep but the reward is the view at the top Fantastic layout on some of the holes risk/reward
Course was very straightforward but the some of the par 4 and par 5 did play long The course was very challenging on the back nine
Good looking course, especially the par 3s, but didn't like the electricity pylons (as lightning was forecast). Preferred the Cromwell, but some preferred the Crown, so nice to play both.
Great fun, enjoyed the views, but the greens were tricky!
Stunning views from the top of this course. Some very interesting holes and challenges.
An interesting course with some challenging holes.
Tight and if you run off the fairways the rough is very unforgiving and a lost ball is very likely. So a course to plot your way round as opposed to a grip and rip. But overall, a very enjoyable course and would absolutely recommend.
Beautiful course. Bit of sand in the bunkers and it would have been five star
Enjoyed it. Course layout made the best of the topography and produced an interesting variety of holes with some great views. Golf snack bar was shut BOTH days so meant we had to snack and drink in the more expensive hotel bar …………………….
