Old Orange has been sympathetically designed with the natural lay of the land in mind and bares a strong resemblance to famous courses such as Oakmont and Pinehurst. Perfectly manicured fairways weave their way between natural waterways and copses of towering trees which demand a high degree of accuracy in order to score well. It should be noted that a good selection of tees allow players of all abilities to experience the delights of this wonderful course. The course presents the player with a great variety of challenges from tight drives and long carries to delicate approach shots and challenging greens so your round here will be sure to excite and invigorate in equal measure.

Created by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, Whispering Oak is sure to provide a challenging round of golf to all golfers who pay it a visit while on a golf break in Florida. Adorned by native oaks, draped in garlands of Spanish moss, Whispering Oak’s subtle elevation changes and pin placements demand accurately shaped shots and precision from the fairways, especially when you consider the size of the putting surfaces which are far smaller than those found on the neighboring Old Orange Course. Like the Old Orange course, Whispering Oak boasts multiple sets of tees, four in this case, which enables golfers of all abilities to enjoy one of the few Nicklaus creations to be found in Florida.
