This beautiful 18-hole, par 72 golf course merely reflects the stunning patch of land on which it sits. Surrounded by hundreds of oak hammocks and Augusta pines, this challenging course has been carved meticulously from sandy terrain that is ideal for golf and adding to the challenge are pristine lakes and undulating greens. Not only is the challenge presented by this course an enjoyable one but the views that a golfer experiences at Victoria Hills Golf Club are stunning.
Victoria Hills was laid down by Ron Garl and his design philosophy was to follow the natural flow of the land on which the course was to be built. As such rolling hills and undulations are common throughout the course and every now and again golfers will need to contend with sizeable water hazards, a couple of which present forced carries and a quick route to high scores should they be found with approach shots.
Fairways are lined by towering pines and age old oaks which not only add to the challenge of the golf course but create an atmosphere that adds to the overall Victoria Hills experience. From the back tees the course measures a healthy 7,149 yards which is long enough to present a challenge to even the mightiest of hitters whil a number of tees positions offer golfers of all abilities the chance to tackle the course. Playing from the ‘Community Tees’ reduces the course to a manageable 4,907 yards.
