Vida Emirates Hills

Opened in 2019 and set right by Emirates Golf Club, Vida Emirates Hills is a smart, modern base for a Dubai golf break. The big draw is the infinity pool, which looks straight out over the fairways, plus a location that keeps you close to the action without being right in the thick of Downtown. If Emirates' Majlis and Faldo courses are top of your list, you'll struggle to find a more convenient spot. It's also a handy launchpad for ticking off other Dubai favourites, with straightforward access to the main routes for getting across the city without the traffic headaches that come with staying central.

The hotel sits on the edge of Emirates Hills, which means you're in a quieter, more residential part of Dubai but still only 10 minutes from the Marina and around 30 from the airport. That balance works well if you want to play multiple rounds at Emirates without feeling like you're stuck out in the desert, and it's equally useful if you're planning day trips to other courses like Jumeirah Golf Estates or Dubai Creek.

If you're the type who likes to squeeze in breakfast, a warm-up and still make a morning tee time with a quick taxi ride, this place makes life very easy. For groups, the real bonus is Topgolf Dubai next door, a three-level venue with 96 climate-controlled bays and a seriously lively atmosphere, perfect for anyone travelling with non-golfers or looking for something social after a long day on the course.

Who is this for?
Golfers and groups seeking a modern, well-located base for a Dubai golf trip, with Emirates Golf Club on the doorstep and easy access to the city's other top courses. Suits couples, small groups and societies who value contemporary facilities, strong food and drink options and a relaxed resort feel without the sprawl of larger complexes.

Who is it best for?
Golfers who want to play Emirates' Majlis and Faldo courses regularly, plus visitors looking to combine golf with Dubai's wider attractions. Also ideal for groups who want Topgolf and resort amenities within walking distance, and travellers who prefer a boutique hotel feel over a large-scale resort.

Accommodation at Vida Emirates Hills

Vida keeps things contemporary and uncomplicated. The 165 rooms and suites are bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows and all the essentials you want after 18 holes, including strong Wi-Fi, reliable air conditioning for Dubai's warmer months and comfortable beds. Many rooms look over the course, which is a nice bonus if you like to start the day with a golf view. The rooms aren't trying to be flashy, they're designed to be functional and comfortable, which is exactly what most golfers need.

Facilities are geared towards golfers. There's a well-equipped fitness centre with cardio and weights equipment, the headline infinity pool for a post-round dip and a small on-site shopping option for any essentials. The pool is the hotel's visual centrepiece, offering a place to cool off while watching groups finish their rounds on the adjacent fairways. For golfers, the real appeal is proximity. You can walk to Emirates Golf Club in minutes, and the hotel's location on the edge of Emirates Hills means you're close to major routes without being stuck in traffic.

Food and drink is covered by three venues. Stage2, located in the lobby lounge, serves afternoon tea and lighter bites in a relaxed setting. Origins focuses on wholesome, health-conscious food, ideal if you're trying to eat well between rounds or after a session at the gym. Junipers is the hotel's bar and lounge, offering a strong drinks menu in a warm, welcoming space that works equally well for a quiet beer or a livelier group session. The food across all three venues is varied enough to keep you fed and watered without needing to leave the hotel every night, and in my opinion the range covers most tastes without trying to be something it's not.

Right next door is Topgolf Dubai, which sits at Emirates Golf Club. This isn't a gimmick, it's a genuinely impressive facility that can accommodate 1,100 guests across 96 climate-controlled bays. The venue features live music, multiple bars and a full food menu, making it a strong option for groups who want to mix competitive golf with something more social. It's also a useful fallback if the weather turns or if you've got non-golfers in your party who still want to be involved.

Vida Emirates Hills works best for golfers who want a modern, well-located base without the sprawl or formality of Dubai's larger resorts. The hotel delivers clean, comfortable rooms, strong facilities and immediate access to two championship courses, all wrapped up in a contemporary package that feels fresh and functional rather than overdesigned.

We had a good time at the vida hotel. But the staff was very unorganised. Very long waiting time for drinks. The room was clean and the comfort very good, but unfortunatelly the noise from the street was very loud the whole hight and it was difficult to sleep.

Room over looked busy road junction. Noise was unbearable. Didn’t help that balcony doors did not shut properly. Breakfast was very average with no English breakfast included. Location not great. 25 minutes walk to metro. Taxis available but Dubai traffic so busy. Hotel tax was not included in package

Very nice hotel with great staff. The only minor issue is that the location is tucked away and means you need to taxi everywhere.

Couldn’t ask for anything more from the hotel and other than it was a little out off the way so you use taxis to get around but the taxis are very cheap and plentiful. difficult to walk to places but that partly due to the road network and the lack of overpasses across the roads

A lovely hotel and the staff are so friendly and attentive.

Very comfortable hotel which was in a good location-a short taxi ride from the Marina, Blue water and central for all local golf courses. Excellent breakfast and the reataurant served a very good evening meal. On the ground floor, just left out of the main entrance, is a very good steak reataurant. We only discovered it on the last day but definitely one to return to!
