The hotel was ideal for the group size we had, catering for all our needs. Excellent value for money with great facilities, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely selection of food. I would recommend the break to anyone looking for a relaxing few days away.

The hotel was dated but comfortable in all aspects. Staff were very friendly. Due to the size of the hotel, we were a long way from the facilities, but that didn’t make too much of a difference as everything was signposted fantastically. Beds were really comfortable and dinner and breakfast were superb.

excellent overall only downside paddock rooms are out of the way and should be explained at booking

Our Society (28) had a really enjoyable three days at Whittlebury Park. We were surprised at how big the venue is. The three 9s that we played are beautifully laid out with plenty of room on the fairways but craftily defended by water, bunkers and undulating greens. A great challenge for all golfers. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are big with comfortable beds and a good shower over the bath. The Paddock annex is quite a walk, especially if you are carrying your clubs back to your room. We had two dinners and the food was very good; the service was excellent. The drinks were priced about the same as my local pub - much better value than some other venues that we have played. Overall, my view is that the venue is excellent and I would recommend it.

Very enjoyable course to play, would definitely come again.

3 very enjoyable loops of 9 holes. Tees, greens and fairways all well kept and a good test for all abilities of golfers. The driving range was a bit tired and the pro shop didn’t have much stock but other than that couldn’t fault it 👍🏻

The 3 loops of 9 all had subtle differences. The caddie master team were helpful, advised on longest drive and nearest the pin holes. Playing 2 of the 3 loops allowed us to have varied golf each day, with some water, long oar fours, tricky short par 3s and lots in between. Undulating ground, beautiful oak trees acting as natural hazards all added to the enjoyment. Only the bunkers were below par, very hard on day one and lacking sand, although they improved after being raked. Best advice, stay out if them!

Really enjoyable experience. Very interesting layout and all three 9's different in there own way. Challenging but not too difficult to make the golf unenjoyable. Some great Par 3's. We had great weather and the speed of the rounds were very good. Club house food good and reasonably priced. Would return even for just a days golf. Live just over an hour away.

It was evident that greens were still being prepped for the main season (+ dry conditions?). The layouts & presentation of the course was excellent. Some issues with access to locker room. Golf bar staff were great!

Being able to mix and match the 3 different nines over the 3 days was a great experience. Greens were a bit bumpy and slow on the first day but much better for the next two days. Some interesting holes for all levels of golfer. Driving range could be better.

Excellent

The lay out of the course with the three different nines allowed us to experience a combination of what felt like three different courses. The overall condition of the course was good with a number of challenging holes in a lovely setting. The only slight issue was the different speed of the greens, which proved tricky for some of our golfers. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend the course to any golfing group. A lovely golf break overall

Apart from an extremely slow round on our first day and the weather, the course played well. Open fairways meant we could have a shot on most holes. Fair amount of water made it challenging, but greens were superb.

tough rounds lots of water and really tough par threes over it still great fun

Excellent

The three 9s were all good and of differing difficulty. Bunkers and water are well, strategically placed and the greens have subtle undulations. We found the pace of the greens to be a bit slow but given the amount of play and it’s now October, that’s probably not too surprising. Overall, it’s a good challenge for the average club golfer.
