Woodlake Park Golf Club

Located in the peaceful Monmouthshire countryside, Woodlake Park Golf Club is a true Welsh gem, offering a championship-standard course that has quickly grown a reputation as one of the finest inland layouts in the country. Opened in 1993, the course was designed by Doug Woods and his sons on what was once agricultural land. The tranquil, rural setting feels worlds away from everyday stresses, yet is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the M4 motorway.

The course itself is a journey through a naturally undulating landscape, with each of the 18 holes named after birds that frequent the nearby Llandegfedd Reservoir. It provides a thoughtful challenge to players of all abilities. The fairways are known for their high quality, but the real highlight is the putting surfaces. Woodlake Park is celebrated for its superb, receptive greens that were constructed to USGA specifications and are renowned for their trueness and speed.
