The hotel is obviously geared up for golfers and is great for walking into town where there are a number of very good restaurants. We ate on the first night in the hotel restaurant which was the most expensive meal of the trip. The food was the least good and service was pretty awful - 2 hours between sitting down and being served our main course!! Breakfast is OK, small area, limited fruit and on one day it appeared the staff had lain in as at 7.45 there was nothing ready. Rooms are very small but are adequate, one or two annoying things - they stop serving drinks around the pool at 5.00pm - you have to go up two storeys to the roof top bar to get a drink ( why??). Staff great but our transfer to the golf course on the first day - didn't turn up and on the second day they were told the wrong golf course - unnecessary delays that we could have done without.

perfectly situated for golf courses. boutique style hotel. they even made packed lunches for us which was lovely. walking distance to all the comporta bars and restaurants.
