Opened in just 2009, Apes Hill is the newest addition to the Barbados golf scene and certainly maintains that high standard of golf on the island. At almost 1000 feet above sea level you get to view all the dramatic scenery as you play the course. There are lakes, ravines, quarries and lush grassland all around and make up a truly challenging game for even the best golfers among us.
There is not one signature hole, but more a quartet of 4 holes in a row from the 11th that provide that challenge to the middle of your round that can either make or break a score. The club has a fantastic service throughout and establishes a new standard of excellence for the Caribbean. Both a wildlife and environmentally friendly course, it has received many high accolades.
With limited access to green fees, make sure to add Apes Hill on your visit to the island. You have the choice of playing from the back tees if you so choose making it a very long 7150 yards, Par 72 with course management the key strategy to making sure you get the most out of your game and you will find this course in immaculate condition all year round.
