Saw Ardglass on YouTube and wanted to play the course. I had very high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed. Simply stunning course and location. Opening holes along the sea, and holes 9,10 and 11 were awesome. I had a great round with 3 guys from Northern Ireland, who were welcoming and good fun. Food after our round was high quality as well. In summary, brilliant.
Ardglass Golf Club is located in County Down less than 30 minutes from Belfast, close to Slieve Donard and the renowned links at Royal County Down.
This truly spectacular course was established in 1896 and has the oldest building used as a clubhouse in the world. The links layout hugs the north-east coast of Ireland serving up stunning views over The Irish Sea which comes into play on 8 holes but can be seen from all 18.
