Amazing course and very helpful staff. One important quirk is that you must wear "long knee length socks" if you want to wear shorts. A hidden gem and throwback to 1920's but fabulous. Will play again.
Blackwell Golf Club is situated south-west of Birmingham, a prime location ensures easy accessibility being just a 10-minute drive from Junction 1 of the M42 and Junction 4 of the M5, while Birmingham airport is a mere thirty-minute car ride away.
Blackwell's history dates back to 1893, a humble 9-hole course that was to be transformed in 1923 to the layout played today by the genius minds of Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler.
