0800 043 6644Set in the heart of 200 delightful acres of countryside, the golf course affords its visitors terrific views over the Severn Estuary, and is punctuated by a number of challenging water hazards. Despite being a new build, the layout benefits from extremely established woodland, giving it a maturity that belies its youth.
The construction company that completed the Bristol Golf Club counts La Manga, Vila Sol and The Belfry among its prior projects, giving an insight into the terrific proposition that awaits at this Bristol beauty.
What a most beautiful course. Yes, hard but not as difficult as the Mathern. We had glorious weather (all week) so this was by far the best round of the week. We would all like to play this course again. Buggies were £5 cheaper than San Pierre and had ball/club cleaners and sat nav.
The course was very interesting and in very good condition with facilities very good, my only disappointment was the price of the buggies at £35.00 is a bit much.
Wasn't sure of the procedure on arrival but bar staff sorted us out. Starter explained the course and even arranged a paste at halfway, which was very welcome.
Some of the holes were challenging but so interesting. Great views and friendly staff. The greens had been dressed which made them a lottery at times but nevertheless very enjoyable.
About right for our mixed group. But it was way too slow. Circa 5 hours which really made it a slog and took away the enjoyment. The greens were some of the best I have played on. I doubt i would play here again due to the slow round. Maybe better for midweek if a bit quieter.
The day at The Bristol GC was a joy from start to finish everything was top quality and what condition top notch
Great course
Fairways needed cutting lack of overall maintenance
This is a fairly nice course, reasonable value but not quite as good as others in the area. The pro shop was closed and the starter insisted on playing of the yellows which was disappointing as its only 5800 yards (par 70). Finishing holes are tough so score early on.
It was club championship day, so we got the course presented lovely. It’s got a couple of quirky holes, but it’s got great views and we all enjoyed it. The walk up the hill from 17 to 18 was incredible, really tough on the legs, but we all enjoyed our day here.
Good course a little hard but buggies were not very safe no downhill reversing.
The course was superb value only the tees needing a bit of TLC,the holes were varied and now under new ownership The Bristol will go places.
A challenge for all handicaps
Another very nice golf course with some terrific views. Friendly staff. Took a buggy which at £20 wqas good value.
Stunning views and excellent facilities, can imagine it being bleak in the winter months, thankfully we were graced with good weather
