The Players Golf Club, within easy reach of Bristol city centre, is one of the most spectacular new golf courses to be opened in the United Kingdom in the past decade.

Built to the highest specifications, the Players Club was commissioned with the intent to create a course that would test the mettle of even the finest golfer. With this in mind, the course measures an astonishing 7,600 yards from the championship markers, and features a 4,000 yard front nine, rivaled only in the UK by Dalmahoy's East Course.
Architect Adrian Stiff has succeeded in completing a remarkable course, which is reminiscent in many ways of the classic resort courses native to Florida, with enormous, sweeping greens that are protected by massive bunkers and water hazards. The trademark railway sleepers are bordered by woodland, gorse and heather, and there are a number of hugely dramatic and challenging holes.
The Players is maintained in good condition thanks to its state-of-the-art irrigation system, so if you feel brave enough, tackle the monster Players Club during your next Bristol golf tour.
Didn’t like this course so much. Didn’t play well but not as good as The Codrington and poor signage on the course
Great food at this club but poor signage on the course
Another stunning course and great facilities
Again a lovely course in good condition. Some stunning looking holes. Would recommend the course, also has a very good looking lake Par3 course
The Codrington is a fantastic golf course. Everyone in the group enjoyed it, from the low handicappers to the high. Greens were in great shape considering they had been treated.
