The hotel makes up for this by its central situation for the courses mentioned but you have to drive to golf. Its restaurant closes out of high season. Single good restaurant in Dol closes for two weeks holiday in autumn. Previous excellent local restaurant Cour Verte has gone upmarket,very limited menu,small portions and now much overpriced. Clubhouse Domaine des Ormes course makes up for this with decently priced varied menu from good chef.There is superb fish restaurant (Le Surcouf) 30 mins drive away in Cancale
