1 Night, 2 Rounds
Since opening in 1996, Forest Pines has earned a reputation as one of Lincolnshire's go-to golf resorts and it regularly pops up in UK and Ireland top-100 course lists. Set in peaceful woodland near Brigg, it feels nicely tucked away, but you're only a couple of minutes from Junction 4 of the M180 and around 30 minutes from Lincoln, so it's an easy win for a quick UK golf break.
The course was designed by former PGA Tour player John Morgan and it's built around three nine-hole loops, Forest, Pines and Beeches. That setup is ideal for a weekend away, especially if you like a bit of variety without driving anywhere between rounds.
Off the course, you've got 188 en-suite rooms, proper on-site dining and a leisure club that keeps non-golfers happy too, which is exactly what you want for mixed groups. If you're planning a society trip, Forest Pines is the sort of place that makes logistics simple. For those seeking a night on the darts, be sure to check out the interactive darts in the golf clubhouse.

Play Forest Pines on your next UK Golf Break and we'll help you line up tee times, rooms and dining that actually fit your group.
The hotel has 188 spacious en-suite rooms, which is a genuine perk when you've got a travel bag and a set of clubs to stash somewhere sensible. Décor is more classic hotel than boutique, but it's comfortable, practical and set up well for golf groups. Expect good-sized beds, decent storage and the usual essentials including WiFi and TV.
Room categories include standard twins and doubles, executive rooms with additional space and upgraded amenities, and suites for those wanting a more premium stay. All rooms are en-suite, and many overlook the golf course or surrounding woodland, particularly those on higher floors. If you can, ask for a room overlooking the course or woodland for the most peaceful feel.
The hotel's public areas are equally comfortable, with generous lounge spaces, a welcoming bar and plenty of seating for groups to gather before or after rounds. For golfers, the real appeal lies in the convenience. You can walk from your room to the first tee in minutes, the practice facilities are on-site and club storage is available.
The Reflections Health, Fitness and Spa centre is a significant draw, particularly for those who want to unwind post-round. The 18-metre heated pool, sauna, aroma steam room, ice shower and heated loungers are all included for hotel guests, while the spa offers a full menu of beauty treatments, facials and massages. The gymnasium is modern and well equipped, and the leisure club as a whole makes Forest Pines a strong choice for groups that include non-golfers or partners who want more than just the golf.
The newly refurbished Beech Tree Restaurant is the fine-dining choice, offering a seasonal menu in a smart, contemporary setting. It's the natural option for evening meals, particularly for groups celebrating a special occasion or simply wanting a more formal dinner. The Brasserie and Bar, by contrast, is relaxed and informal, serving lighter meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. In summer, the outdoor seating area is a popular spot for a post-round pint or casual lunch. Both venues source ingredients locally where possible, and the kitchen is well versed in catering for larger golf groups, with set menus and flexible dining times available on request.
Forest Pines is just a quarter of a mile from Junction 4 of the M180, making it one of the most accessible golf resorts in the region. Leeds, Sheffield and York are all within an hour by car, and the location works well for groups travelling from across Yorkshire, the East Midlands and beyond.

Fantastic Hotel. We upgraded to a Deluxe room but was given a suite. It was very quiet and comfortable. The food was wonderful, and the staff were very attentive and professional. The drinks pricing were in keeping with many hotels. In our opinion not exorbitant

The hotel was functional, the staff were incredibly friendly, the hottest week of the year and the air conditioning in the bar was broken, so that effected the ratings given, however wonderful experience all round

Nice hotel with friendly staff and the golf starter was incredibly helpful in getting us on without being behind big groups or societies. Course was looking and playing really well and was in excellent condition, especially with the dry and hot weather. Had a great couple of rounds there and would recommend it.

Starter on the courses was obnoxious and rude and argumentative pro shop very helpful even though two months ago I had booked two buggies for the Sunday and they didn’t have them but sorted us one out

Great hotel with great staff. Second time I have stayed for a golf trip. The standard of food is really good and all reasonably priced. Location is ok depending on what you want. If you are happy to stay at the hotel the entire time then it is great. If you are looking to head out to a night out, I would suggest this is probably not the place.

The Forest course was really good. Interesting and not too difficult

The 2 courses were great. However, the hot and dry weather is having a large impact on the fairways as they were very dry and light brown. They desperately need rain and the amount of trees on the property means it needs a lot The tee boxes were fine and the greens were excellent. Bunkers were so so.

I think it helped that I played well, however, my group and I found the course to be fantastic. If I am correct, Beeches is the 3rd 9 and you can tell that it isnt as premier in setting as the other 2 9s however the greens were fantastic, the fairways were lush and the tee boxes are all maintained throughout. Overall for all 3 9's there wasn't a bad hole, every one was memorable in some way and both my group and I have stated that we would return in a heartbeat.

Apart from the obnoxious and abusive starter, we went over to beaches on the Sunday morning and was told to get off and go over to Forest

Apart from the obnoxious starter, someone needs to have a word with him about his attitude. We were due to play Pines and beaches on the Sunday but the starter came up to us very loud and abusive and told us to get off the course and go to forest in the middle
