Golf de Baden is not an authentic links course but its location on the seaside provides gorgeous views over the estuary of the River Auray and frequent stiff winds. The course features plenty of subtle nuances and is trickier than it may appear. The ordinary loking clubhouse is not to be overlooked though. The encroaching pines also place an emphasis on accuracy from the tee. Baden is quite a short course by modern standards but the sea breeze can add make the course play significantly longer.
