New South Wales Golf Club

Designed by the great Alister Mackenzie in 1926 took inspiration from his recent design of Cypress Point when building this course on the edge of a cape. The strong winds make this arguably the hardest course in the country.

Bonnie Doon Golf Club

Bonnie Doon lies in the heart of Sydney and is the 3rd oldest club in Sydney designed in 1897. A recent redesign in 2014 by Mike Clayton and Geoff Ogilvy has brought new life into the layout that is now a stunning new age links-parkland style blend.

St Michael's Golf Club

Nestled between numerous courses including NSW Golf Club alongside the southern Sydney cliffs, St Michaels is starting to enjoy its own fame. The golf course is growing in recent decades and starting to play in links-style as it was first intended.

The famous beaches of Sydney

The beaches of Sydney are famous across the globe and it is Bondi Beach that grabs the main share of the attention.

Bondi has its own tv show ‘Bondi Rescue’ and in summer holds over 40,000 people, making it a must visit for all. However its nearby neighbours of Bronte and Coogee beach are nestled, like Bondi, within stunning bays and are well protected but still feature break for surfers.

North of the famous Sydney Harbour, catching a ferry to Manly to experience manly Beach is a must and is a slightly quieter and more pleasant experience as you can enjoy the promenade which is littered with cafes and restaurants before enjoying a short walk to North Head to enjoy breathtaking views of Sydney’s coastline cliffs all the way to Sydney’s skyscrapers in the heart of the city.

Blue Mountains National Park

Only 40 miles west of Sydney but a world away you will find the Blue Mountains National Park. A stunning area filled with breathtaking scenery that is a must do if you visit Sydney for a week as it makes for a perfect day trip to experience Australia’s iconic natural landscape.

The Blue Mountains make up part of the Great Dividing range that runs along the length of Australia’s east coast some 2,300 miles. The ‘Three Sisters’ is a stunning viewpoint that must be seen, the rest of the park features stunning cliffs, waterfalls and eucalyptus forests perfect for bushwalking or driving through.
