The Golf Hotel Woodhall Spa

Perfect for a golf stay, clean, comfortable, very friendly staff and very close to the golf course

The hotel is in a great location, but, the rooms are dated and ours in particular was not good. The ensuite was small, the toilet seat was only attached at one side, the bath was half the normal size and you had to climb over the corner of the sink to get in because of the blind. On the plus side The he bar was okay and the breakfast was good.

The hotel itself is in need of sprucing up, basic facilities in the rooms, no air con, windows not opening due to being painted up. Not terrible but not as good as other hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is fantastic for the courses at Woodhall Spa and a minute’s walk from a great Indian restaurant and a nice little bar. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in any hotel too.

Hotel was not too bad, thought it was part of the golf complex to be fair.

Location for the golf course is perfect. Hotel staff exceptional, room felt a bit tired and dated, but clean and comfortable.

The location of the hotel was ideal, both for access to the golf course and the local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Our only issue was the ensuite bathroom. Whilst it was clean and in good condition the size and location of the shower/bath made it difficult to use.

Hotel was clearly a good quality hotel in its day. Looks tired and dated.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Rooms very good. Good selection of beers. Good breakfast and evening meal. Minor disappointment was that the complimentary water bottle in the room wasn’t replaced on a two night stay.

Nice hotel, the drinks were reasonable and the staff were helpful and the breakfast offered was fresh and good. The room was OK but a little small the twin beds were very close together and mattress was to soft but had everything you would need. There wasn't any additional facilities at the hotel just a bar and restaurant could have had a golf simulator as the only people there were linked to the nearby Woodhall Spa golf course

Hotel is a bit tired. The bathroom was far too small and I couldn't fit in the shower. The morning breakfast however was excellent.

Hotel was perfectly placed for the golf club. Food was good, room was fine for what we needed. Floor areas in bar need replacing. Could not check in at 3, but a complimentary drink was given to us. Staff were excellent

The hotel is in the perfect position, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The food was standard but tasty.

Hotel was in a great location. Full English breakfast was very good.

Found the bar area to be unwelcoming with hugh TV on the wall showing sky news. Dinning area in the dark and breakfast area felt like a works canteen. WiFi in the room poor. Staff however were very pleasant and happy to help.

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help and make us comfortable. The food was great, very tasty and fresh. The breakfast was also delicious.

Great hotel and ideal location for anyone playing Woodhall Spa. The hotel is comfy and rooms spacious, the bathroom was a let down and the shower awful. But, as we only stayed 1 night it was fine
