The Great Room is a feature of every Holiday Inn Express hotel and encompasses an open-plan restaurant and lounge area in one. The licensed bar is well stocked and open to guests 24 hours a day – and on summer evenings has a heated patio which is an ideal place to get together with friends for a drink or two. Four large HD TVs across the Great Room show all major sporting events, and our coffee makers, ice and vending machines and comfortable lounge sofas make this space somewhere families, friends and colleagues can enjoy a little down-time.
The hotel have partnered with David Lloyd, next door, to allow hotel guests to use their gym and leisure facilities for a nominal daily guest rate.
Rooms were clean & comfortable, parking was ample, bar was massively overpriced & breakfast left a lot to be desired!

We picked this hotel because Norwich county centre hotels don’t have much parking, especially for large vehicles that our group mostly has. So it was 10m taxi to town which was no problem. Hotel staff were very helpful, beer was good and breakfast buffet perfectly adequate. Overall it served our purpose well.
