Perched just 20 metres from Agadir's golden Atlantic shoreline, Iberostar Waves Founty Beach is a four-star, all-inclusive resort that blends Moroccan warmth with beachfront ease. The hotel's bright, summery atmosphere runs from the palm-lined pool terrace through to the spacious rooms, each designed to feel like a proper retreat after a day on the fairways or exploring the coast.
Location is a real strength here. Agadir Airport sits close by, the beach is on your doorstep and the city's main golf courses, including Golf du Soleil and Golf de l'Ocean, are all within easy reach. If Golf du Soleil is on your list, this is a handy base for building an Agadir golf break with minimal transfer time. The resort has picked up recognition for its hospitality over the years, and once you're settled in, it's easy to see why.
The all-inclusive format takes the guesswork out of planning. Meals, drinks and activities are covered, so you can focus on your golf, the beach and making the most of the Moroccan sun. Whether you're here for a quick winter escape or a longer stay combining rounds with downtime, the hotel strikes a good balance between resort comfort and authentic local character.
Who is this for?
Golfers who want an easy, good-value all-inclusive base in Agadir, with the beach a short stroll away and quick access to Golf du Soleil and Golf de l'Ocean.
Who is it best for?
Mixed groups where not everyone plays golf, thanks to the pool complex, spa, entertainment and straightforward dining on site.

The hotel's 470 rooms are built around comfort and light. Moroccan design touches, splashes of bright colour and contemporary fittings create spaces that feel both welcoming and authentic. Every room comes with a private balcony, so you can step outside with a coffee in the morning and take in views over the Atlantic, the resort's pools or the manicured gardens below.
Room categories range from standard doubles through to larger family rooms and suites, giving you flexibility depending on group size and budget. Families will appreciate the extra space in the suites, while couples often favour the sea-view doubles for that uninterrupted Atlantic backdrop. Modern amenities are standard throughout, air conditioning keeps things comfortable even in peak summer and the layout is practical enough that you're not tripping over golf bags or suitcases.
The main Mercure Restaurant handles breakfast, lunch and dinner with a generous buffet setup. Show cooking stations add a bit of theatre, and the international menu covers enough ground that you'll find something different each day. For a change of pace, the Antares Restaurant serves authentic Moroccan specialities in a more intimate setting. It's worth booking a table here at least once during your stay to experience the rich, spiced flavours of the region done properly.
During the day, the poolside snack bar keeps things simple with light meals, sandwiches and ice cream, perfect for a quick bite between rounds or a lazy afternoon by the water. As evening arrives, the Orion Lobby Bar is the spot to watch the sun drop behind the Atlas Mountains with a drink in hand. Later on, the Cassiopee Entertainment Bar livens up with shows and a more energetic atmosphere if you're in the mood for something beyond a quiet nightcap.
The large, palm-tree-lined swimming pool complex sits at the heart of the resort. It's an inviting spot to cool off after 18 holes, with plenty of loungers and shaded areas if you prefer to stay out of the midday sun. For golfers looking to ease tired legs and shoulders, the on-site spa is well equipped. The traditional hammam and sauna are ideal for unwinding, while a full menu of massage and beauty treatments is available if you want to go further.
Active guests have options beyond the golf course. There's an air-conditioned gym, tennis courts and a rotating schedule of classes including yoga and aerobics. It's enough variety to keep fitness routines ticking over or to try something different on a rest day from golf.

Hotel is definitely ready for refurbishment! Drinks of low quality. Food average. Location is good on the beach, but a good 30 minutes walk if you want to find any other bars. Would not stay here again!

All staff very friendly and helpful and it was a lovely hotel for the budget price. Only downfall is that the gym is only open from 8am until 6pm I would have liked to have got in there at 6am. Food was lovely but we were unable to book into the à la carte while we were there which was disappointing: also could do with offering better coffee at breakfast and throughout the day. Apart from that we had a lovely stay

Food a bit dull and not enough variety. Only one bar so very busy in the evenings. Not enough indoor seating. Overall very limited facilities. Staff great, hotel very clean.
