Accommodation at Iberostar Waves Founty Beach Hotel

Fully refurbished in 2017, the hotel boasts an incredible 470 guest rooms which are split over three buildings which make up the accommodation. All rooms feature a 32 inch TV, complimentary WiFi, a convenient safe and chargeable minibar amongst other kitchen and bathroom essentials. The accommodation starts with a double room which sleeps up to three guests with an inviting double bed and a pull-out sofa bed; this room, like most others, features a private terrace to enjoy a range of different views. Double rooms are available with a side sea view, sea view, sea view with priority location and as an interconnecting room - an option popular with visiting golfers catering for up to six guests. Then there is a family room which is designed for two adults and two children before finally getting to the Junior Suite and the Suite, both lavish and exclusive offerings which provide larger living spaces, separate bathrooms and more.

With three restaurants covering both buffet and a la carte menus for Moroccan and Japanese cuisines, no one can argue this hotel’s variety of dining options. Other places of interest at Iberostar Founty Beach include the Orion Lobby Bar, a sophisticated space where live music and a wide range of drinks make for lively nights. Snack bar restricted opening times. Need tea / coffee making in room. Average food but noisy restaurant, more like a canteen. In a 4 star hotel you shouldn’t have to pay extra for safe!!! Room large and quiet. Spotless overall especially pool area. On a different note YGT service and organisation was spot on, particularly the transfer to from airport and courses!👍 Would go back!😃

Accommodations were first class. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive..e.g. I left a very expensive golf rangefinder at golf du soleil and hotel reception staff arranged for free transport back to club to recover. We actually had a very good relationship with the reception staff.

Very comfortable rooms, very clean throughout, food varied and enough choice even for the fussy. Superb beach across the promenade. Staff coped well with the covid precautions, i.e. no self-service meals. Going back for a third visit.

Room larger than expected and very clean with plenty of storage space. Balcony view over a side road and disused toilet block not ideal but rarely in the room anyway. Heated pool and surrounds immaculate as was the beach just across the promenade. Food variety was very good with help-yourself beer, wines, soft drinks and hot drinks at meal times.

We were well looked after by friendly and willing staff and the rooms were clean and roomy. Lovely pool and beach with a wonderful promenade that affords a great walk into the centre of Agadir and the marina and fish dock.

Very good. Can't fault it. Only problem is between the hotel the the golf clubs. Hotel must issue the correct voucher as clubs don't accept the ones issued by YGT meaning it has to be confirmed by phone while a queue hold up the golfers.
