Golf de l'Ocean is the latest golfing development around Agadir, being completed in late 2009. It's already matured into a fine layout though and a very entertaining one at that, comprising three loops of nine holes each that provide championship golf in a setting of true natural beauty.
Please note that a Caddy, Golf Buggy or Trolley is compulsory for playing on the courses.

0800 043 6644Built close to the other prominent golfing destinations around Agadir - the courses at Golf du Soleil and Golf les Dunes - the development at Golf de l'Ocean is well suited for addition into golfing packages around the resort town. From hotel bases near the town centre and the lovely beaches, these three separate clubs are all within easy reach, and together form the basis of a fantastic golf holiday in Morocco.
We caught up with Ladies European Tour Player Sophie Walker who finished 6th in the tour event played here in 2014 to see what her thoughts were on this 27 hole complex:
"I played the Dunes and Desert Course during the Lalla Meryem Cup. Both feature raised tees, charming par 3's and tree lined fairways. The club boasts a terrific driving range and two putting greens. My favourite 9 is the Dunes as it has some great par 5's and very testing long par 4's. Two holes which stand out for me are the par 5 2nd on the Dunes and the long par 3 9th on the Desert course. We play this as our final hole on tour. It measures 170 yards over water and sometimes I need a wood when the wind is against.
Each nine differs in the fact that the Desert is very tree lined and undulating, it is less affected by the wind due to these factors. The Dunes is closer to the coast and noticeably affected by the ocean breeze at times this can really affect the length of the holes.
Preferred the back 9 but overall a good course, well maintained with opportunities to buy back balls lost by others from the green keepers! We had 2 buggies this time as the distances from tee to green are pretty long when it gets hotter ( about £35 each to hire) Quite a lot of water and some wonderful avenues of eucalyptus trees. Would definitely play again. Rated facilities low as Pro shop had virtually nothing in it and there were no hand towels in the changing rooms
Scenic course with nice fairways and greens. Three 9's and played them all. Suitable for all standards of golfer. Well watered daily and the pins can be attacked, in fact they must be as anything short generally stays short.
An improvement on Soleil in my opinion but marginal. Greens were very good and fairways had a nice freshly cut carpet of grass. Very scenic. Required a trolley at 10 Euro each. Will be back. 38 points with one blob, no lost balls.
Tree lined, parkland course. you need to be straight.
Surprised by the quality of the course having never golfed in Morocco.
Shortage of buggies but a good time was had
Nice cours, but not too many buggies, if you are off later, you should book first.
Too easy Not much service A gentleman always take photos at first tee when we refuse he was not nice and forced us to take photo before we can tee off
Again we were held up by groups ahead with caddies.
Typical links course. Good but some greens patchy and quite a lot of rough
Enjoyed going around another course but there was not a lot more Michael Groves
