The hotel was excellent with very clean facilities. The food was outstanding. The Michelin-star Italian restaurant, Buddha Bar and breakfast were all fantastic. The only thing we felt was missing was a more casual restaurant where you could grab something simple and quick. Room service offered some options but there wasn’t a physical place to eat casually, so the main options were quite fancy and expensive if you were eating there every night. Reception and spa staff were very kind and helpful. Some of the breakfast and pool or beach bar staff were a bit slower and seemed slightly disorganised at times. The rooms were immaculate and the spa and pool areas were excellent.

The View is well positioned for walking into town. There is a two mile esplanade by the sea,delightful for walking to bars and restaurants. The hotel is really pleasant. Unfortunately the bars and restaurants are unaffordable. Consequently, they are all empty and lacking in atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent
