David the landlord, was helpful and supportive before we even arrived. We advised him that would be arriving quite late on Sunday after playing en route and he suggested pencilling us in for a table. We then advised the chef of our dinner choices as we travelled from the course to the hotel !. The food was excellent (we ate there on both nights we stayed) and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
