Set in Shadwell, neatly between Leeds and Harrogate, Leeds Golf Centre is a proper no-nonsense option when you want golf that's easy to access and friendly from the off. A multimillion-pound investment has freshened up the place and it shows, with a modern feel, solid practice areas and a set-up that works whether you fancy a quick pay-and-play round or you're looking at a subscription.
If you're new to the game, you won't feel like you've walked into a stuffy members' club. If you've been playing for years, there's still enough going on to keep you honest, especially if you're trying to score rather than just have a wander. Add in coaching and practice facilities and it's a handy base for an improving golfer who wants to put the work in.
It also makes sense logistically. You're close to Leeds city centre, not far from Harrogate and well placed if you're piecing together a Yorkshire golf weekend and want something flexible for mixed-ability groups.
On-site you've got the essentials covered, with a clubhouse for a bite and a drink afterwards, plus a pro shop for the bits you always forget.
Who is this for?
Beginners, improvers and mixed-ability groups wanting welcoming, flexible golf between Leeds and Harrogate.
Who is it best for?
Pay-and-play golfers, coaching-focused players and societies who want value and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Donald Steel designed Wike Ridge course has recently been redesigned and the new layout now offers a more engaging experience - longer fairways, new water hazards, additional bunkering and over 1400 trees make the course a much sterner challenge than in previous years.
A unique 12 hole par 3 course is playable all year round and is in the same excellent condition as the 18 hole championship course. Its the perfect place for beginners, juniors & casual golfers to play as it offers on the course experiences that are just not possible from driving ranges.

Great course and in great condition . Facilities are state of the art . Staff in pro shop need to work on there customer service skills, sarcastic and abrupt, didn't make us feel welcome more a hinderance to them. Had to provide evidence 2 times that we had paid your golf travel for the round.
