Lykia Links is one of the standout golf courses in Antalya and the only layout in the area that truly hugs the sea. It's also widely regarded as the Mediterranean's first purpose-built links-style course, which makes it a great shout if you want something different from Belek's more classic resort parkland.
Set across roughly 60 hectares, this 18-hole championship course is routed through sandy scrubland and low dunes, with the Mediterranean featuring throughout the round. The result is a proper shot-maker's course, especially when the wind gets up and you have to flight the ball and use the contours rather than firing at flags.
The course was designed by American architect Perry Dye, son of the legendary Pete Dye, and you can see that bold design DNA in the bunkering and shaping. There's plenty of width in places, but the misses can be costly, particularly around the greens where firm turf and run-offs bring imagination into play.
It's consistently rated as one of the best courses in Turkey and it's a brilliant option for golf groups who want a real change of pace during an Antalya break.
Who is this for? Golfers who want a links feel in the sun, groups looking to mix up the usual Belek rotation and anyone who enjoys dramatic coastal golf.
Who is it best for? Mid to low handicappers who like strategic, wind-affected golf and don't mind navigating pot bunkers and firm, running fairways.

Lykia Links
Just one look at the Championship Course at Lykia Links and visitors will be struck with awe. At times reminiscent of Kingsbarns, the course is carved along the Mediterranean coastline, with some mind-blowing holes that live long in the memory.
Each individual hole is beautifully sculpted, and bordered with vast areas of sandy scrubland, giving Lykia a genuinely rugged links feel. The stretch from 13 to 17 is the most enchanting at Lykia, caved through the dunes along the coastline – be sure to avoid the treacherous pot bunkers.
Perry Dye has manufactured a modern masterpiece with his Championship Course, which has catapulted the Lykia Links to the forefront of golf in the increasingly popular golfing hot spot of Belek.

beautiful course with perhaps the best greens I ever played on: SUPER!
the reception was not that friendly or helpful and the facilities seemed a bit outdated.
it’s a 45 minute drive from MAXX Royal which is too far for my liking but overall a good experience for sure

We only managed two holes as the course was eventually shut due to thunderstorms. However the overall course looked amazing and the first 2 holes were challenging and in great condition. We will definitely be back next year to hopefully play a full 18 holes.
