LA VIE Club (formerly Muscat Hills) was the vision of the late His Highness Kais Bin Tarik Al Said. It is the first 18 hole grassed golf course to be built in the Sultanate of Oman.
Designed by Paul Thomas of David Thomas and Associates the 72-par, just under 7,000 yard golf course is uniquely designed over 45 hectors of land that boasts sea views and a spectacular back drop of the Al Hajar Mountains. The course is landscaped in and around the natural Wadi terrain offering generous fairways and challenging shots over the wadi escarpments.

Complementing the Championship course is the comfortable club house with a large outdoor seating area and excellent practice facilities that feature a spectacular 400-meter floodlit driving range with undercover tee off area and a putting green for members and guests to practice on throughout the day and into the late evenings.
The Academy offers state-of-the-art equipment under the tutorship of qualified PGA professionals who offer a wide range of tuition services using the latest cutting edge technologies of eCoaching with swing video analysis, Flight Scope and Sam Putt Lab.

Found the course quite difficult and sometimes confusing finding the correct tee.

We were members of this Club when it first opened in 2010. The waste areas had been improved and the course was in good condition although the cart paths were not in good condition in certain areas. The main issue were the facilities. It was a building site meaning that the green fees should have been discounted.
