The club has hosted prestigious events throughout its history, including the Welsh Team Championships in 1995. The course itself is a classic links layout that tracks the coastline of Conwy, taking in some splendid holes. The club has many links to Royal Liverpool and the Lancashire, with Hoylake member Harold Hilton having a major input in the club’s foundations.

Great links, nice atmosphere in clubhouse. Pro Shop well stocked, limited practice facilities was the only minor drawback, but excellent experience all round

Difficulty navigating. You are shooting blind on most holes so you didnt know where best to hit and lost quite a few balls. If you knew the course it would have been better. Need a decent map.

The course was in great condition apart from one hole that had been re-turfed. The greens had been cut and treated which made it harder to putt on but overall the course was excellent.

Conditions were awful with heavy rain and 40mph winds. Some of the greens had flooded but we could not expect anything else. We were playing Millionaire golf. Pro Shop was great and very helpful when we came in either towels etc. Really enjoyed the experience and would love to play again in the dry!!
