Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa Reviews
Many thanks to Your Golf Travel for arranging our golf trip to St Andrews.
I have been to many 5 star hotels with Your Golf Travel but The Old Course Hotel has proved to be the best by a mile. The service given by the staff at all levels was exceptional, as was the hotel in every respect.
On our second day there we played the Old Course. I had a caddy which added enormously to the enjoyment of the round for all of us as he guided us around the course allowing us to miss all the hidden trouble. Getting a par on the 18th was a great end to the trip!
Just wanted to say what a fantastic short break Allan and I had at the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews. The staff and surroundings couldn't have been nicer and everything was first class. All staff members were so polite and courteous, the bedroom was stunning and the bathroom was out of this world! Prices in the bar were as you would expect from a hotel such as this which was fine.
Playing the Dukes Course was amazing. Again, the staff at the Clubhouse were exceptional and Allan and I enjoyed our 2 rounds of golf in brilliant sunshine, with stunning views over St. Andrews.
We cannot fault this short break in any shape or form and we will certainly come back to Your Golf Travel for any future golf breaks.
Thanks to all at Your Golf Travel for helping my dream come true. Like many golfers, I've always wanted to play the Old Course and so treated myself this year with 2 nights at the Old Course Hotel and a round on both the Old Course and the Duke's. I have to say it was simply superb and something I will remember for a long time.
The hotel is fantastic and I would say it is well worth getting an upgraded room as the Old Course view rooms boast vistas across the course and the Auld Grey Toon which are are great.
The spa at the hotel is world class and the food is superb too. In my opinion there isn't a better place to play golf in Scotland - maybe even the world.
Thanks again for making an old man very happy - and that is difficult to do!
The deal of an overnight stay in the Old Course Hotel and 2 rounds of golf seemed too good to be true, and the four of us had a fantastic time. The hotel was the best, with magnificent facilities.
We played the Dukes and got through in the ballot for The Old Course too.
The whole golf break was top quality from start to finish; two days that will be long remembered!
I have just one word to say about the golf break to Scotland:
incredible! The planning of this trip by YGT from the start to the
finish was first class too.
The Old Course Hotel was one of
the finest hotels I have ever stayed in and our room even faced the 1st tee;
what an incredible view! The weather was perfect, we got to play the Old
Course and walk it like so many famous golfers of old; what an
The Dukes course was really tough and the Spey Valley course was beautiful...and long!
Old Course Hotel is unmatched in its customer service. Wow do they make
you feel at home and the food at all the restaurants was the best.
Thanks again for letting an old Iowa boy accomplish one of his all time dreams of playing where our beloved sport began! Cheers!
