The 6,579 yard layout is built around the five man-made lakes that are the focal point of the landscape, which also provide the course's irrigation.
More than 300 trees have been planted around the course, and there is a restriction on construction, ensuring that the integrity of the environment remains intact. The signature holes are undoubtedly the 16th and 17th, which are carved through the lakes, and can either make or break your round.
These outstanding holes and the stunning surroundings help to explain why Quinta da Ria has become a mainstay of a golf holiday around the Eastern area of the sunny Algarve.
Another lovely course with seaside views. Great condition if a little over-watered and boggy in places.

Great course in great condition, everyone in our group enjoyed playing this despite having reservations having experienced De Cima the day before
Absolutely fine as a layout. Good for a mixed handicap groups. Not worth a second visit.
Good course, not as good as the two Quinta courses but it was a decent test of golf with some very good holes. The late tee time we had 14.40 (4 times) meant two of our groups were unable to get a drink afterwards as the shut the bar/clubhouse at 7pm.
Nice course. Play was a bit slow as some locals jumped on right before us. Good fairways and greens. Clubhouse was nice and staff were friendly. Would recommend.
Enjoyed the course very much. A little over watered in places (not the greens). Weather conditions changed on our last round (very windy). Played in the afternoon, rather slow compared to other rounds.

Great opening course. Very windy which did make it a challenging round, the course itself was quite open but very enjoyable.
It rained before our round so we were not allowed buggies, which we booked. So even though I could not walk the course because of medical reasons they did not care
Only slight complaint is the driving range was shut when we were there. Heavy wind made it difficult Lovely course

Early tee time was very helpful (particularly given the previous days experience with a later tee time and slow pace). Staff very helpful - they even opened their kitchen early so we could get breakfast. We will definitely go back.

Great course
Very windy day which resulted in a very slow round. 2 groups waiting on the par 3 5th and 3 groups waiting on the par 3 16th. These should be call up holes but 20mph+ onshore winds didn’t help. No buggies available due to our mid afternoon tee time so given a couple of club cars which were old but worked! We gave up at 16 as 4hrs 45mins had already elapsed!

The golf courses we played were fantastic and really well-chosen. Each one offered its own unique challenge and was kept in excellent condition. The variety kept things interesting, and the scenic views made every round a memorable one. Everything ran smoothly, making it a truly enjoyable golfing holiday from start to finish.
Great course I think it shutting this year for seven months redoing the course
Unfortunately for us we had no buggies due to the weather, was quite a slog for many of our ageing group
We were very unlucky as they had had so much rain. The grass around the greens was very long.
Weather conditions made it challenging but overall good. Disappointing that we had to pay deposits for everything, loackers/clubs/tokens for trolleys and range etc. Food poor ar clubhouse. Staff friendly

Lovely course in great condition. Views are fantastic. Even managed a Hole-in-One on hole no 2 par 3 and received certificate from company. Lovely course to finish our holiday.

i was very disappointed i have booked thru your company for years and have always been told that you cannot pre book buggies in the Algarve to my disappointment one of us could not play as there was only 1 buggy left
We loved this course. we thought the greens were in excellent condition. the staff were attentive and present on the course and the starter worked hard to make sure a delay that occurred early in the morning was ironed out

Had a group of 8. Personally my favourite course in excellent condition. Very picturesque course. Would of liked a refreshment buggy around more often, only came once.
Great course in great condition. No drinking fountains on the course, no halfway hut or mobile drinks service though.
Best course of the week - terrific! Slight criticisms - bunkers were wet (there had been no rain) and, whilst greens were fast and true, practice green was very much faster!
A good course and set-up.
Great course with good greens and lovely views. Play however can be very, very slow and there was no marshalling whatsoever to try and keep things moving. Lots of French and German holiday golfers who appear to have no knowledge of golf etiquette.
Great course great views sadly no buggies had been booked , not sure whose at fault
General consensus this was the best course we played, (ria, cima & vale). Greens were lightening quick but place and facilities top notch! We will come back!

Not as well maintained as Cima and quite tight fairways which opened up towards the end. More interesting after the 11th. Again, great for recreational golfers but probably a bit boring if your handicap is below 12-15ish.

Only downside arrived 10.45 for a 11.40 tee, told we were not off until 13.10. So poor communication by Yourgolf. Also told by reception that de Cima round on the Thursday was 13.10 aswell contrary to Yourgolf booking confirmation of 12midday!!

Favourite course of the 3 we played, conditon of the course was fantastic.
same as Quinta De Cima experience. The course is in excellent condition as always. From tee to green it's pretty much immaculate. Quinta da ria is beautiful with some holes on the ocean. V picturesque. Unfortunately it's become painfully slow ( we played three rounds here during the week and at weekend) stuck behind groups that had a professional with them who was also putting took forever and we pretty much lost the will to live. Will not return.
Very poor service from staff on course, difficulties in sorting out our buggies which ultimately involved almost 4 of their staff, and to be honest got the day off to a very poor start. A private function was on after the golf and made drinks very hard to get, we would have had food but no confidence that it would arrive before our taxi called for us. Doubt that any of our party would return here. As a separate issue the transfers from and to the airport and the golf courses were excellent.

The club swapped the tee times so we played this course on the Sunday rather than the Friday as booked. This wasn’t a major issue. Both da Ria & Cima were in very good condition. The 2 main issues we had a group were 1. On arrival on the Friday were advised that Your Golf had only paid for 3 buggies where it clearly stated on our confirmation that we had booked and paid for 4. The lady at reception was helpful and provided the 4 buggies. This applied to the Sunday booking also. The 2nd issue was that the Clubhouse was closed on both days and if it wasn’t for the flexibility of the same staff member (on both days) we would not have had access to refreshments post the round. Given the hot weather this was very poor organising by Your Golf. We were advised that all golf operators were advised that the clubhouse was closed. The secondary impact was that our booked transfers had to be amended so that we were not left sitting at the clubhouse for 90 mins with no bar amenities. I had to contact Your Golf to arrange a change of time for pick up.
It was a busy Sat but no food offering & wont be any throughly Jul / Aug - probably something clients should be made aware of
This makes a mockery of the WHS if this is easier than my home course at 600yds longer and I lose a shot 😒 Great course a must play if in area.
Again another beautiful presented course with some stunning holes on the back 9 especially along the coast, faultless again! Apart from the clubhouse closing at 6.30pm

One of the best kept courses on the Algarve. Trees are main hazard and greens are tricky and fast. Good sea views and water comes into play on several holes. If they let the rough grow it would be hard.

Buggies expensive
The course is a good test of golf and tested our group , it is a bit disappointing to get onto the 10th tee to find that a 4 ball cut in. When asked how they managed that they said that the after 9 holes they fancied something to eat !! This obviously made our round. A lot longer than we hoped.
Disappointing that the greens had been hollow tined a few days before. Someone should have informed us when we were booking that this may be the case.
A terrific layout with some great views. A very fair course with some tough holes and some real birdie chances. Easily walkable course which is just as well as no buggies were available.Greens in good condition and lunch at the clubhouse was excellent.
To busy, tee times to close together, location outstanding great views over the Ria.
A perfect companion to the Cima. In great condition and an enjoyable, interesting course. Friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous views. Just a delightful experience.

Served by the same clubhouse the course as markedly better than Quinta De Cima. Great views of the sea and the coastline , more challenging as the bunkers encroached onto the fairway approach. Kept us interested to the end.good course
Decent Always is
Excellent golf course, stunning sea views, just let down a little by very wet (sometimes boggy) fairways and semi rough. Greens slow. Despite this would play again. The new clubhouse area is looking good. It was not ready for our trip (we were advised so no problem) but the temporary facilities were very good.
Really enjoyed this. Some tough holes over and around water but fun.
