0800 043 6644The course was added relatively recently as a sister to the already established Quinta da Ria layout, and offers a good challenge to golfers of all abilities. Quinta de Cima is pretty open, allowing you to open you shoulders from the tee, but distance is not everything; the course is peppered with obstacles that include trees and cavernous bunkers. The course was designed by Rocky Roquemore, whose excellent projects are evident throughout Portugal, and measures 6,842 yards.
The best holes at Quinta de Cima are saved for the end, as 16, 17 and 18 are all spectacular holes, while the sea and mountain views make a round here all the more special.
First time played this course, lovely setting but had to make sure golf ball was driven to correct area on fsirway
See above.
Greens had been hollatined a few weeks ago but played well
Same comments as Ria
A great golf course beautifully presented some difficult and long par 4's but well worth playing. Only dissapointed was that the clubhouse closed at 6.30pm meaning none of our group were in before it closed.
Beautiful Course and club house
I found this the harder of the two and although pretty doesn't have the sea views. Fairways not as good as the Ria, but I'm being picky. It's a good course and is kept as a resort course should be to find balls when wayward and keep play going.
A more difficult course because of length but very playable.
One of the best on the Algarve
A much more pleasant experience than its sister course Ria. The greens were nice and slick although there were a few bare spots on the fairway that should have been marked GUR. The facilities are currently being renovated, hence the low rating. Once finished it will be a much better venue.
A fine course and a fair layout. Not quite as picturesque as de ria and a bit more room off the tee. However some great holes and a good test of golf. Great value and a must play if in the area.
Good test of golf worth a second visit.
Stunning golf course in great condition. Superb views. Loved it. We had a buggy but it's a flat course and we could have walked it. Would certainly return to play again
long and difficult
Every time we play Quinta de cima the course is in good condition.
The trouble is all the holes looked the same : longish par 4’s and the par 5’s the same just a bit longer. Not contour rich and the back nine was the same as the front in that it is was long with plenty of bunkers ,except the last par 3 over the water.
Excellent golf course in great condition. Whilst a challenge it is a fair golf course with some difficult holes. The week we played it was in far better condition than the sister course, Quinta Da Ria. The new clubhouse area is looking good. It was not ready for our trip (we were advised so no problem) but the temporary facilities were very good.
