Good course, well drained considering the rain we experienced. Quite open and not too punishing with some interesting holes.

Great test of golf. Not the most difficult, but testing, especially on the greens, which were the fastest greens I have ever played on (this could have been down to the course hosting a Hotel Planner event a couple of weeks before. Thoroughly enjoyable.

This was another great course, greens were very fast. Good bunkers and no pitch marks on greens. Need more refreshments carts

A fair test for all levels of golfers, course was in excellent condition with great panaramic views. Pace of golf was good, just over 4 hours 15 minutes for a four ball. Highly recommended. One comment which covers all the courses is the hiring of clubs. Each day was a separate hiring so not possible to keep the same set for all four rounds we played. The cost of hire was higher than expected/advised.

Again used buggy as grrens and tees well apart and parts of course steep Better clubs though not so new as the previous two courses Better than Praia but not as good as West Cliff

Lovely course you muat play it. Holes over the water you could just stand on the tees and take photos all day.

Another highly enjoyable golf course in very good condition. A modern looking parkland type course with plenty of water hazards. Again the greens were fast and fair.

Amazing course, very long off which ever tees you play from. Greens were lightning. The buggies were very luxurious and everything about this course was premium quality 5*

the golf course was stunning but the greens were almost impossible to hold you where being punished for good shots they could have done with some water

Not an easy course at all Over described especially being a Portuguese Open course. Massively waterlogged - could have been safer in wellingtons on some parts - no ball run or help from the course- in good or bad shots - whatsoever. Greens heavily sanded but still fast. Buggies not allowed on the course so the usual long walks side to side making the round longer, but even those with trollies find it hard going through the surfaces in places. 5hrs plus due to all golf being slow Least jolly staff we met. Club House not dynamic in anyway. Very refectory , very austere. Living a bit on its reputation. Might be nice in the summer or less rainy but wouldn't rush back.

The course is magnificent in design. We played on a day with on off rain and strong winds, which made it more of a challenge than in good weather conditions. The greens were excellent, and the 18th is a fabulous closing hole.

I would say Seve created a masterpiece when he made Royal Obidos. Lots of spectacular holes with water meandering down throughout the course. In superb condition with fast undulating greens. Definitely a must play. Probably my favourite of the trip.

Great views, wide off the tee but long and very thick rough! Played hard after Challenge tour event last week. Lovely fast undulating greens and fairways rolled out nicely. Tough course but plenty of tee options to keep playable for all.

Obidos was one of the most challenging courses ever. The rough was extreme and greens lightning fast. Amazing fun

A real gem in beautiful condition and very pretty. Only played it once in our package but would have liked to play it again in preference to West Cliffs

One of the best courses Ive played, but rough on 1st play for a higher handicapper Immaculately set up, with fair par 3's and variety of holes configurations. Takes a while to get the speed of the greens and the wind makes some holes play really tough. Fairways and 1st cut areas, immaculate.

We played in high wind and some rain so it was BRUTAL! A good test for low handicap golfers and has great shape and some amazing golf holes.

Another gem of a course ⛳️

A 6 hour round with no course Marshall . This is a difficult course and the competition in front seemed to have inexperienced players on it . Lovely with the water features and views but this was the only course that didn’t make any effort to control pace of play which rather ruined it for us .

An excellent experience despite playing bad golf.

Great setup and loved it. Bit wet in places if you play in the morning due to overnight watering.

This is a challenging course with very little forgiveness. If you are able to land your ball on a postage stamp then you will enjoy a round. That's not saying the views are beautiful and the course is mint. Just very challenging.

This course was a beast, it had been set up for a big open comp and the rough was 6 inches deep. However the greens were super fast and top quality. It was only a slow round as lots of walking

This course felt quite American. Lots of water. Very little run when we played it but it was really quite cool at the beginning of our round. The greens were outstanding and much the best of the three courses we played.

Played the course many times in the past and finally felt that we were getting to grips with it. Really enjoyable

Nice course with great views. Greens recently sanded so slightly inconsistent. Very slow but could have been down to us!

Brilliant course, more open than west cliffs and Praia del Rey… really enjoyable

Incredibly difficult with super quick greens. Course was in phenomenal condition however a little damp in some fairways. Clubhouse was underwhelming but the course was great.
