The style of Saint Jean De Monts is in some ways unique, with two halves that are distinctly different; on the opening nine holes, the layout is carved through mature pine trees, giving little hint of what is to come on the back nine.
These closing holes run alongside the Atlantic coastline, creating a spectacular setting for a truly memorable round of golf, and one that should be a certain highlight of any golf break in the Western Loire.
Great layout, really tough course as shown by slope of 150. Condition of greens and fairways were a bit poor possibly due to rain this year. Restaurant in clubhouse is very good. Staff very friendly
