If this was your home course you would be very happy, but you expect a little more in SA, our biggest complaint was it was very scruffy around the perimeter, a big plus it is only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. we all walked fairly flat.

Stellenbosch is more like a members club back in England. The course was in average condition with patchy areas on some fairways. Greens were fine though. The biggest problem we had was that we were not able to get buggies on a very very hot day (38 degrees). This meant we weren't able to enjoy the round as much as we had hoped.
