The course is surrounded by beautiful nature; as you play through the rainforest, the fairways open up to afford views of the idyllic Andaman Sea, with the Mat Cincang Mountain peak as an incredible backdrop. Each hole you play is different and has unique characteristics, making a round here one of the most exciting anywhere in the world. In total there are five holes that run directly next to the coast and are widely considered the best of the 18, with holes seven and eight boasting giant par fives that incorporate difficult water hazards and sharp doglegging which can be daunting for any golfer.
The condition of the course is incredible considering the extreme heat and rainfall that Langkawi can experience and given the risk of this, the course actually uses thick vegetation instead of sand hazards to eliminate the risk of bunker erosion.
This jungle course can test even the low handicappers with the challenges on offer, but the reward is the sheer level of beauty. Whether its the flora and fauna that grace the fairways, the views of the distant ocean or even the wildlife that are inhabited nearby, visiting golfers are sure to be in awe of this incredible golfing experience.
